Everything seems to be fine, but

it sounds like a fault in the speakers themselves. It's most likely a physical fault as the computer seems to think that everything is working okay. do you have a different set of speakers to try and see if the same thing occurs?

Hmm... it seems it's a problem with the power adaptor. Have you tried to replace it?

It can be several problems.
1. Driver of wired network adapter is not properly installed. Try reinstalling the driver. 2. Your LAN wire is defective. Try a different wire. 3. If you are using a router or switch. There might be a problem with it. Check that. 4. Your wired network settings is not properly setup. Try resetting it to default.

Reset the IE (internet explorer): Control panel -> Internet options -> Advanced -> "Reset" and/or "Restore advanced setting" . If you still have problem using IE, it is banned by your internet security/firewall software.

go to BIOS MENU by pressing Del or F2 while booting...then check the boot priority and first boot device..change it to hard disk...if then same problem occur then your hard disk might have some problem...

Try a different Brand Of DVD Maxell Typically Work Universally With Failing Drives or older Drives or touchy drives...

run device manager and removed auknown device,, then restart your computer... ..

Hmmm... were the cd's originally burned using that laptop? Or were they burned on a different pc?

It could be as simple as your cdrom doesnt like something about those cd's. Or it could be a flakey cdrom.

My suggestion, try reburning them to a different brand of disk using a different pc. Then see if your laptop will read them. If not, may need to replace the cdrom. Though it reads commercially manufactured cd's, if its flakey, it will have problems reading custom made cd's.

Other option, get a usb flash drive and copy those files from that cd, in a different pc, to the flash drive.

You don't need any special drivers or programs in order to copy mp3 files from a cd to your hard drive. Yet, you would need something in order to play them. Which media player does just fine.

Flakey cdrom or flakey cd's... hope this helps.
