Hi, connecting the Dynex Wireless Optical Mouse is easy. First, you need to install the driver for the mouse. It should have come packaged with the mouse, on the CD-ROM. If you don't have the CD-ROM you can download the driver from the website and install it:

http://www.dynexproducts.com/productSearch.html?query=wireless+optical+mouse&mainSearchButton=

Scroll down to "Dynex Wireless Optical Mouse" and click "English" next to "Driver:" to download it, then unzip it and install it.

Once you've installed the driver, all you have to do is put the two AA batteries in the mouse, flip the switch on the bottom to On, and insert the USB receiver into your computer. Your mouse should be usable right away!

Have a dynex optical mouse model # DX- PWLMSE how does it connect

The Dynex DX-PWLMSE uses a 27 MHz frequency wireless connection between the mouse and a specific USB receiver. For the specifications, see https://www.dynexproducts.com/pdp/DX-PWLMSE/8632063 .

To use the mouse, you need to press the Eject button behind the scroll wheel. This lets you open the battery/USB storage compartment. Put two AAA batteries into the mouse. Then remove the USB adapter (it's between the two battery slots). Close the storage compartment and put the USB adapter into an available USB 2.0 slot on the computer with a version of the Windows OS above Windows 98. (Note: the specifications I see indicate Dynex wrote drivers for Windows Vista. It may not work with Windows 7, 8 or 10.) Make sure that the computer is on and can get driver updates from on-line sources. Turn on the mouse and it should auto-pair with the receiver. If there is no response, try pressing and holding the connect button on the bottom of the mouse.

I'm not aware of any vendors that sell the USB receiver for this mouse. The manual for the DX-PWLMSE is available from Manuals Lib: https://www.manualslib.com/products/Dynex-Dx-Pwlmse-Wireless-Optical-Usb-Laptop-Mouse-4908.html .

I hope this helps.

Mouse wireless wont connect to my laptop

Can you please mention the Wireless mouse type and also the OS version which you are using on the laptop. Mostly it could be a driver related issue or if you are using a Windows XP version, the pnp service may not be detecting the mouse attached to the port. So Its important to know the OS version, and the mouse type which you are using... Good Luck.

Im trying to conect my dynex wireless optical mouse hoe do i go about conecting to my laptop. i got windows xp.

The first thing to do, before you plug the receiver in, is to install the driver. (It should have come on a CD-ROM with the mouse.) Once you've installed the driver, turn the mouse on and plug the receiver in, and you should be good to go!

The dynex wireless optical mouse model DX-PMLMSE will not connect up. What do I need to do? I have checked the batteries and they are installed correctly and is turned on. The green light came on and then...

Did you install the driver before connecting the mouse? If so, press the Connect button on the receiver, and when the light starts flashing, press the Connect button on the mouse. The light should stop flashing, and the mouse should work.

Mikomi mouse

An optical mouse works based on imaging principle so we have the freedom of accessing even in a 3D way. If your Optical mouse is not moving the cursor side wise, I would suggest you to look for the exact Mouse driver and install it. Usually on a Windows XP machine they work as plug and play.

If the Driver is working fine, you must look for the Windows or OS compatibility. The WDDM compatibility can also cause this to happen.

Else you have to replace the mouse.

Good Luck.

I have a dynex wireless optical mouse but my laptop will not recognise it

Have you installed the driver for the mouse? Did you install it before actually attaching the mouse's USB receiver? The driver should be installed first. You can download it here:

http://www.dynexproducts.com/productSearch.html?query=wireless+optical+mouse&mainSearchButton=

Scroll down to "Dynex Wireless Optical Mouse" and click on "English" next to "Driver:" in order to download it.

If you've already installed the driver and your computer still won't recognize the mouse, press the Connect button on the receiver, wait for the light to flash, and then press the Connect button on the mouse. The light should stop flashing and the mouse should be ready to use.
