Pfaff 7570 Sewing Slow

It forms a perfect straight stitch but slows very slow. When I change stitches it still sews a straight stitch very slow. It may move to a different needle position but doesn't form the selected stitch. It was serviced last week and was sewing fine. The first sign of trouble was that it started sewing backward without the reverse selected. Now this!!

Unfortunately, this is most likely a computer board issue and there's just no way to predict if/when a board will go bad.

Your only option at this point is to take it to an authorized Pfaff dealer. If the person who serviced it was an authorized Pfaff tech, take it back to them. If not, do take it to a Pfaff dealer - non-Pfaff authorized techs are not trained on the machines.

Sorry I can't give you a simpler answer, but until this is corrected, your machine won't work properly.

Best,
Kim

Hi I have a pfaff 7570 which sews very slowly and does straight stitch only even when the setting is for fancy stitching. Can anybody out there help me? Thanks

The very first thing to do is
Make sure all of your cables are FIRMLY attached and that the foot control is connected.
Make sure the bobbin winder is in the sewing position (see Manual for details of this).

Have Pfaff 7570. Can I sew 4 holed button?

If it is a flat button that will fit under the presser foot, of course you can stitch it down with your sewing machine. (I like to use gluestick from the school supply bin to stick the button to the fabric.) Be sure to deactivate the feed dogs while you are sewing on buttons.

You'll just need to stitch two button holes and then rotate the fabric & button and stitch the other two holes.

My 7510 says "adjusting pattern" 248 when I turn

I had this problem a few weeks ago. A new baseplate fixed it. You will need to take it to a Pfaff repair shop

Free motion quilting skipped stitches, breaking threads

Might be that you need to lower the tensions quite a bit, you'll have to juggle with top and bottom tensions though, and experiment for just this operation with the Sensormatic.

Probably a bad circuit board. It needs to visit a Pfaff dealer for diagnosis and repair.
