That is at your local dealer... LG will give you 1year warranty.. Anyways it seems to be a problem with the earphones.. Did you try a different set of earphones?

Nokia 1208 earpiece problem

Hi, Earpiece can get damaged if there is dirt or the earpiece is totally damaged.
You can clean up the earpiece and see if it will work, if it doesn't work, you will need to replace it.

Thanks for using fixya.

The main speaker (receptor) do not work

Hello,

The problem why you cannot hear the person you are talking to with the one at the top front(the main earpiece) is that the front earpiece of your phone is bad that is you cannot hear anything unless you put it on speaker.

All you need to do is to replace the front earpiece of your phone and you will see that you will hear when you are talking to anyone.

Change the front earpiece as advice and you see that you will hear your conversation when calling or receiving calls.

Take care.

I can't hear the person talking on the phone earpiece. The volume is on high and the speaker phone works fine?

Sir/Maam,

It can be that the earpiece is broken. Try calling someone without using any earpiece, if that works that proves the earpiece is damaged or broken.

If that doesn't work, then the speaker in your phone must be damaged.

Hope i helped you, thanks.

Everything is working fine except the ear piece

The other post refers to the process that allows you to use speaker only, instead of automatically selecting earpiece. Unfortunately, this will not resolve your issue, as it appears that your earpiece has a loose connection and must be repaired, or you can continue to use speakerphone, bluetooth (if capable), or wired headset.

Earpiece not working

The speaker phone and music uses a different speaker. You have a bad earpiece or connections to the main board via the gold plated fingers. This is a simple repair done by any shop. They should have used ones from dead phones laying around and charge you for the labor. If you are mechanically inclined, go to Howard's Forum and enter your question for description and photos on how to disassemble your model. You will need a T-6 Torx screwdriver.

Samsung alias earpiece speaker

Possible the earpiece has gone bad. Can you test with another earpiece?
Remove battery and examine metal contact points for dirt. Can clean with a pencil eraser.

Bluetooth connects to LG Vu phone but does not work

I would suggest taking the battery out when the phone is powered on. Replace the battery and try to re-pair the set.

If that doesn't work, then its likely the bluetooth module in your phone is broken. You can validate this by pairing the bluetooth with another handset.

LG Rumor Internal Earpiece Toggles from Working to Not

There could be a short in the earpiece. This can be fixed at a repair center if they are stocked with the right parts. If not they can still check out the phone and see if it is eligible for an exchange.

Can't Hear Calls

If you can find a dealer willing to replace the earpiece (preferably from a used "junk" phone, so it won't cost too much), you should be able to get it fixed for a reasonable price. Otherwise, start drooling at the new phones.
