In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper and I wouldn't recommend doing it especially if it's under warranty.
There are several web sites pertaining to be able to get you into your laptop/PC if you forget your password. Please download the BIOS update utility from the following web site. You need to select you machine model number under BIOS button u can get the utility to download.
You need to remove the bios battery to reset the bios to defaults. With as complicated as some laptops are to take disassemble I recommend letting a professional in your local area do it. It should not be more than 20 or 30$

remove the cover from the computer , look for a disc shaped watch battery (cmos battery) on the mainboard (motherboard) remove it for about 30 seconds. replace it. this resets your bios password. restart and leave the password field blank if it asks for it on startup again.

I have set the password for administrator when i entered the bios set up. you can change its setting but not the configuration unless you've entered the password. you can't change the password with a new one if you cant enter the old password. Next time dont forget your password because laptops has its security even when stolen you cant open its bios set up if its protected by password. CMOS battery is in the mother board. You need a service technician to open your laptop to reset the bios setup battery.
