The default password used to reset the device to factory defaults is either:

00000 or 12345

If you have changed this code, you will need to enter the code you changed it to. If you have not changed this code, one of the above codes should work.

show ur phone to the nokia customer centre. it might have hardware defect..

1. Power on your Nokia N97 with your new UNACCEPTED SIM card.
2. Type #PW+
3. Followed by your Nokia N97′s 8-digit unlock code
4. Type +1#
5. If successful your Nokia N97 should say "SIM Restriction Off"
6. Your done!

It will not take the password if you have changed it. 12345 is the default password that comes with factory installation. But you can always change the password.

Type *#7370# on your phone. This will restore your phone back to original factory settings but be sure to back up all your phone memory data like contacts, calender entries, notes etc cos otherwise your whole data in phone memory will be lost.

The unlock code to your nokia phone N97 is 1 2 3 4 5 .
But only if you have not change code from the phone factory setting.Note if you have done that and you could not remember the code take it to a work shop for a flash and your phone will star at fresh again.
