My screen shows lines, verticle lines and when I take a picture the lines are in the picture
Please reset the Camera and check if that helps.
To reset the Camera, just press the RESET button using a sharp-pointed object. The Reset button is located inside the jack cover. Please make sure that the Camera is turned ON while pressing the RESET button.
If the issue still persists, power reset the Camera and check if that helps.
To power reset the Camera, please remove the Battery Pack from the Camera and then press the POWER button for 15 seconds.
Then, reinsert the Battery Pack after 1 minute, then turn ON and check if that helps.

Vertical lines are from bad contacts (some of the signals are missing), ether ribbon connector is oxidized or the connector itself damaged. Sometimes the screen connection with the ribbon dries out with time and the damage is permanent. Solution can be a new screen, or main board. The screen may have also a tiny invisible crack on the edge, then your solution is a working screen. Buy an as is camera from ebay for the screen
