Disconnect the AC power for at least one minute to reset the clock.
Adjust the volume to the minimum using the Volume down button on the front of the unit.
Press and hold the Volume down button on the front of the unit and the 0 button on the remote control at the same time, holding them down for at least 10 seconds.
The user menu will appear with the V-Chip cursor blinking.

You can do this manually throught he menu and using the volume/channel buttons to toggle to the choices. Go to the video menu and in there you will be able to adjust the display size.

This is not unusual--Dish and other remotes even if program will not have all the functions that may be needed---

Change the aspect ratio by way of the remote or go into the picture settings and re-adjust it from there.

take the remote, press menu scroll through till you get to picture.... (zoom 1, zoom 2, panaramic, normal, auto and wide screen)..... please note some HD channel are in wide screen...

I hooked up a Pioneer DVD player to my TV and when I play a DVD the volume cannot be controlled by the TV. It just plays at one level and on the louder side. yes,you can adjust it by your remote control,find the service menu and from there you can now adjust the vertical from of your tv.
