When you "tried" the forgot-your-password page, did you correctly answer all the "secret" questions?
If so, FACEBOOK should have sent an E-mail to your ID.
So, check your "Junk Mail" folder, to see if the E-mail arrived, but was moved to a different folder, as part of your E-mail "filters" -- you may need to disable those mail-filters.

When you do that most websites will give you an option to either change you password or some will send your password to you through your email.
