My printer trys to print from tray #1 which is a manual feed tray, I have tried to set tray #2 as the tray to print from on my computer and on the printer itself. So far I have had no luck.
Every time I try to print I get the red attention light flashing and it say load tray #2, which is already loaded with paper.
I have to press the check mark twice to get anything to print.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Dennis
Just had this problem and stumbled upon how to fix it. Check the guides in your tray 2. Our back guide was slightly off of the proper spot for letter size paper. This was causing the printer to think the tray had a custom size of paper in it. Your document is probably trying to print on letter size paper and when it doesn't think the paper is in there it switches to tray 1.
The only information I could find is these two links:

If you still can not figure out, you may just want to disable the manual feed. Its possible the setting is also buried in the drivers. I know the HP 3600n had a setting like that buried.
when you go to the menu of the printer is the paper TYPE set correctly?
tray 2 should be letter ( if using plain paper)
tray 3 legal, label etc...
and tray 1 should be any
