How to lock the mobile with security code in this

If it is a used phone and it was never wiped. Then the old security code is active. Changing the sim does not change the security code of the device. If it is asking for a sim security code, then the sim card is locked and you must have the code or the sim is just a piece of plastic. Did the service provider put a code on the sim and forgot to tell you.?..Take the sim back and ask for another without the security code on it. Sims can be coded so that if they are stolen they cannot be used in another device.

i think ur phone is Nokia N-96 if correct pl reload ur firmware ur problem is solved or send my address or contact me

The code depends on the company of the mobile......for Reliance it is - 000,for other mobiles it may be 12345,1234......you should go to the mobile shops and tell them to unlock the code........after that or put your old sim....and got to mobile settings>security......there will be lock code settings there....disable them all and you may not face the problem.....and even ask the code once from the mobile repairer from the mobile shop......I HOPE THIS MAY HELP.....:-)

i hv nokia 2610 which i brought from oman,Right now i an in India & i forgot old phone lock code,& i am with other network, as soon as i change my my sim card,its asking for a phone code & i dn't remmeber the old phone code.help in this

The default should be 12345 for the phone security code.
