Meridian M7310 phone system

We had a power surge 1 week ago and since then we have no voice mail on any phones. When you try to access your voice mail with Feature 981 in comes up with invalid code, as well as 983, 983, 985.
We have tried resetting system, unplugging, waiting, but nothing has changed. The system for voice mail is the Star talk mini.
Stressed with voice mail.

    I am trying to set up the voicemail feature but it says its an invalid feature is showing on the lcd screen..What is causing this problem? The password prompt is not coming up for me to enter password.

We had a tech come in who has worked on the system a long time ago and he said because of the power surge it fried the Star Mini. He said they are hard to get and may have to search on Ebay. We only had a battery backup instead of a UPS.
So for now we are without voicemail.

Dial *298 to access voice mail through phone company and I receive "you are not able to make this call, please contact system administrator for assistance". I talk with our system admin and he knows...
My guess is that the *298 is interferring with the flash system. Have you tried selecting an outside line first and then dialing the *298?

When trying to copy a voice mail message to another person's mail box we get a 'cannot continue' error message. We were able to copy messages up until this week, any ideas?
If the destination mailbox has existing new or saved messages, there might not be enough capacity to allow the message to be copied into the mailbox. Check the destination mailbox to see if this is the case.

I have a M7310 Norstar and at this time all features are invalid. What can be done to fix this problem? Cannot access voice mail, cannot transfer calls to a voice mail, etc.
If none of your voicemail features are working(F980- F989) then somethings wrong with the voicemail itsself. Check to see if the power light is on inside the voicemail cabinet. If its lit, then try cycling the power on and off and wait abot 10 minutes to see if the voicemail comes back online.

I have M7310 phones with the complete system I can not seem to be able to activate our mail box system, we tried entering f:981 and F:983 however it says feature inactive
If none of the voice mail feature codes work (feature 980-989) then the voice mail system is either not working or isn't recognized by the telephone system.Go to your communications closet and check to see if theres a power light on in the voicemail.If not then you might want to call in your tele system service provider.

Unplug the phone for 1 minute and then reconnect it. After booting up, it should correct the problem.

No matter what Feature 983, 984, 985, 903, 904, 9*1, etc. I get the message "inactive feature", yet our phones still seem to recognize which line is which. Please help asap!
Sounds like the voice mails down. try resetting the power to it and hopfully it'll respond

Changing auto attendant's voice to be my own.
GBSA: Depending on which auto attendent you have, which is
an add on device to your phone system, you will either have to go to the actual unit and access it via a jack, some have built in CD mikes and re-record the message. The newer units have an access code that you dial from your extension unit allowing you to make the change from there. Thank You. Jerry
