The burners light, but it takes an inordinate time for them to stay lit. One of the burners will not stay lit when the knob is released, regardless of how long you depress the knob.

Need a new fsd ( looks like a small brass pencil) for the burner that won't light. The alignment of the ignition electrodes needs looking at and there over all condition I. E broken , worn , misaligned ect

GE gas stovetop burner doesn't light

there are sparker modules on each burner behind the button, it may be that yours is failed, if you turn on other knob and you see spark at problem burner and still isn't lighting you have to make sure the black or grey tops are paced on perfectly, just give them a little nudge and you have to make sure area is perfectly clean for spark to take effect, spark will go for cleanest area on metal. so ensure area is clean and check burner top

One burner will not light

IF YOU HAVE THE TYPE THAT IF YOU TURN ONE BURNER UN ALL FOR WILL SPARK, WHICH I BELIEVE YOU DYOU JUST HAVE A BAD CONNECTION TO THAT IGNITER. LIFT THE RANGE TOP A LITTLE AND YOU AHOULD SEE A WIRE GOING TO EACH BURNER CHECK AND MAKE SURE ALL WIRES ARE CONNECTED. AVER TIME THE CONNECTIONS BECOME BAD JUST LIGHTLY TWIST THE WIRE END TO THE LITTLE TAB TO THE BURNER BASE AND THIS SHOULD FIX THE PROBLEM. ALSO IF YOUR BURNERS ARE REMOVEABLE LAY THEM BOTTOM DOWN ON A PIECE OF SAND PAPER AND LIGHTLY SCUFF THE BOTTOM OF THE BURNER
WHERE THE BURNER SITS YOU SHOULD SEE A LITTLE ROUND METAL PART THAT THE BURNER SITS ON TO MAKE IT SPARK SAND THIS ALSO FOOD AND GREASE BUILD UP WILL HAMPER THE SPARK. THIS SHOULD FIX THE PROBLEM

I cleaned the gas top and the two left side burners do not ignite

Take the burners out, then take a needle and stick in the small hole where the gas comes thru.

One burner igniter fails to spark after getting wet

Each burner has its own switch to direct current to the igniter. It appears that one of the four switches burned or shorted out, while the other three survived the flood. These switches are replaceable, so that's how I'll fix the problem.
