Disconnect cables going from battery boxes to the control box. There is probably a catch that needs to be squeezed in, then pull and wigglt the connection block until it disengages. Release the straps over the battery boxes then remove batteries and covers. Lift up on the cover (you may need to push some cable back into the box) and put cover aside. Disconnect cables from batteries and attach to the new batteries. Same procedure, in reverse, gets you back to an operational MPV5.
The full manual is not available online. It must be purchased directly from Hoveround for $20 plus shipping. Please call 800-964-6837, you will need the serial number from your power chair, located inside the manual brake release above the footrest.

Manuals are $20 plus shipping. To register your power chair, give them the previous owner's name or the serial number, which is located in the opening for the manual brake release just above the footrest.
