Question about HP Compaq WF1907 Monitor
The speakers no longer work. When I attempt to use iTunes to play music from my library, it's like the the volume never engages. Nothing happens. There is no indication the music is playing at all. When attempting to watch hulu - get the video, but no sound. They were working 2 days ago now nothing. I checked all volume controls and they are good. Bought the unit 15 months ago. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Selectbanker, As a test only try this. Remove green plug from rear of pc. Find old am/fm stereo transistor radio or even a portable cd player and connect the green plug to your "new" audio source. Can you hear anything coming out of the monitor's speakers? Also try a set of stereo headphones in the green audio "out" jack to see if sound is coming out of the pc. Narrow down where loss of signal occurs first. 12fixlouie
