First, HDMI is not a perfect hook-up solution. Cable box connections via HDMI are notorious for being problematic. The best thing you can do is contact Samsung and get the latest firmware for your TV.
Samsung Customer Care: 1-800-Samsung (1-800-726-7864). If this does not resolve the issue, connect the cable box using Component cables instead of the HDMI. Component cables are HD also. I hope this was of some assistance.

hi...I have a Sony Bravia KLV-40S200A (8 years old) and a Panasonic Blu -Ray player about 1 year old. I have an HDMI cable connecting the 2. My blu-ray has internet access and I have Netflix. I have been accessing Netflix and watching movies for a full year and then all of a sudden, nothing works. I can't access the internet/Netflix nor can I watch movies. I have 2 HDMI cables. I tried them both with the blu-ray player and nothing. I checked my cables with my computer and both work fine and when I connect my computer to the TV..no problems. I then checked my blu-ray player to another tv in the house...checked it with both HDMI cables and it worked fine. So it's gotta be the TV. But all of a sudden? I've read different forums...have unplugged the TV and unplugged the blu-ray...I've reset the TV using the up arrow and power off on the TV but nothing works. I also checked to see if there were any new drivers for download/upgrade but nothing there either. Any clues, suggestions, ideas?? Thanks!!!
