Well i have the same problem and i also have a SGH-J700 and i have 2 sim cards that has no servise. I tried doing something, using this code (*2767*2878#) or (*2767*3855#) nothing worked but i want u to try it with your simcard in and out if it does not work go to this wap site(http://wwwgsmhosting.com/vbb/member.php?... if it does not work buy a new sim card.

Unfortunatly there is not any assitance for forgotton cell phone passwords. Only thing you can do is try to remember it before you lock it out completely.

Take the sim out before you enter the numbers and try again

While i was calling O2 voice mail, they asked for my pin code but i can get hold to the keypad in my Samsung SGH-490v. I had tried to press the hold key for i see if i can make the keypad appear again but no luck! :o( How can I get my keypad on screen while i am in a call? Thanks

two codes you need to know!

FULL RESET: *2767*3855#
NETWORK: *#9998*638#

Basically first do a Full Reset (this is deletes Everything saved on the phone; But this is isnt the firmware so its safe)
Then insert whatever SIM card you want and type in NETWORK (*#9998*638)... your phone will freeze for a sec (this is normal) and the restart... youll get a message saying "Please Wait..." and then you phone is working

NOTE: The NETWORK (*#9998*638#) code has to be typed in every time you start the phone

MY o2 j600 (J600AYGF1) was "Phone Locked, Return to service" and then i used this code and it was fine...
My j600 is now back to normal by typing #0111*RANDOMCODE# and the incorrect password message came up and tyhen worked
