How do I turn off the night mode on NEC Dterm 80

Several phone vendors post user manuals on-line. Dterm 80 is a phone that works on about 10 NEC phone systems. Find out which system you have; Pro II, Elite, IPK, IPK II, SV8100, 8300, 8500, and so on, then Google your system+user manual+PDF.

Ringing is assigned in system programming, so if your phone doesn't ring you can't change that unless you have person on site who works on the system at that level. Some places use the night mode feature to make certain phones ring in day mode, and others to ring in night mode. Not very likely but sometimes the mode gets switched at places who don't realize they have another mode, suddenly only 2 phones ring instead of ...5. Feature,80,Feature, is the code to switch back and forth on a Pro II, an Elite, and an IPK system. This would be done at the reception phone. These phones also work on several other systems so don't know if this works for you. Or maybe you set Do Not Disturb, which would keep your ringer off.

You will need a professional installer to do this for you.
Cross conecting and proper grounding required for any installations.

Line ringing preference on our NEC phone

Do not get outside line, just press:
#7579 to turn on, #7576 to turn of
Then press SPKR to exit

speaker 47,9+1+area code and number....beepbeepbeep hang up.

press feature 80 feature

if you are connected to a key system like a electra elite try dialing feature 80 feature at the main console.

Try dialing the numbers 725 and then hang up...to turn it off..same thing. Ours works this way at work.

NEC Dterm 80 phone, 1 ext. is blinking and we can't get it to turn off. It shows a busy signal when you try to call it.
Help it is the owners phone!!!
