My Toshiba A105 went into hybernation and will not come back up.......................

Yesterday I closed all programs, then shut my system down. I came back an hour later to do some more work and the power button is flashing in "yellow" -hybernation mode. I pressed the button, it turned blue as if it were coming on.........and nothing, The screen stayed black, but the buttom was still blue. I pressed the power button again to turn it off, and it turned "yellow." What in the world is going on? It's never done this before............the thing will not work.................please help................

No sound on my A105 s4334 Drivers are ok and system thinks that sound card works.

Check with a external speaker if it works, else you might have to reconfigure the sound settings in control panel..create a new user profile and check as well if it works

Wifi cuts out after Standby mode - won't connect to preferred net

Try to reboot, and don't put it on standby anymore. Try putting in it in hybernation instead.
See if that helps. If it does not, post my a reply.

thanks

Toshiba Satellite A105 problems

Sounds like a program is not loading properly. You should try to load in Safe Mode, And see if it starts properly. If it does you then can do the diagnostics to find which program is trying to load and shuts machine down. You may also try starting in step by step and catch it right away. Depending on your version of Windows you are running you may be able to restore to a previous time when your machine worked right. Good Luck and have a good day.

Toshiba Satellite A55-S306 doesn't come out of hybernation

Turn the PC on, when it is booting up, keep hitting "F8" until windows boot options come up, choose "Safe Mode" and then once it boots into safe mode fully, go to the start menu and choose shut down. After it shuts down, turn it back on and it should go back into normal mode. From now on, don't use Hibernate, its buggy and has been since XP.

Toshiba Satellite iss getting power but won't start up

Try pressing F8 to start it in safe mode. If you get into the operating system, Go to System Restore under the STart-Programs-Accesories-System tools-System Restore. Pick a date before the laptop started this problem, and the wizard will guide you the rest of the way.

Instantaneous shutdown of my Toshiba Satallite A105 Laptop

Hi Sam,

What operating system are you using ?

If you remember what time it last randomly shut down on you, use the system event viewer to see what errors were given just before it turned itself off. You can access the event viewer in Windows XP by clicking on the Start button, then click on Run, and in the box that pops up type in "eventvwr" and hit enter.

Click on system on the left hand side to view the log files of the system. Browse down until you find the time when your laptop turned off. Hopefully there is a series of errors there. They should be able to tell you something about why it is doing it.

Hope this helps, feel free to post some of the errors back here if you find any!

Toshiba Satellite A105 laptop keeps shutting off for no reason.

I think your fan might be broken....if the fan doesn't cool the pc,the processor or the chipset will automatically shut down the pc to prevent burning hardware.Or your hard drive might keep crashing.Oh yeah and abstract from this i don't recommend ever using mcaffe

Black screen

Yes, it could be stuck in hybernation

Or.. Check to See if the Lid Switch is Stuck Down... Some laptops have alittle Movable plastic pin that depresses when the lid is closed to turn the screen off... this can sometimes get stuck down to the board button.. causing the symptoms youre experiencing
