Lens caps for this model camera are not available from Polaroid, unfortunately.you could certainly fashion one from a used medicine bottle cap. Find a one that fits over the lens, paint it black, and add a string or take a lanyard from your old camera and use it! It's a cheap alternative, but an alternative nonetheless!

How do I get a english manual for polaroid iD1660

You don't say where you are but there are numerous outlets in UK selling these camera's. I'm not sure why if they are current stock you didn't get one with yours? Was it second hand or a gift? You will have to search the web if you can't find a dealer with one. Try the main Polaroid factory web pages.

Manual for polaroid DVG-720: Easy-Grip Digital Camcorder

Hi just got a Polaroid DVG-720 HD Camcorder and have had it charging for almost 2 days. The red light is still blinking, how long does it need to charge for?
Do I need to have the SD card in while it is charging?

The LCD screen on my Polaroid DVG-1080p Camcorder is not displaying a picture. All it display's is a white screen, how can i fix this?

Hey mkafirebird, I don't have a good answer for you other than perhaps a ribbon cable could've come loose? Polaroid is definitely not helping with this camera since they've discontinued this model(more like disowned it). My lcd was cracked, and I wanted to replace it, but there aren't any replacement parts out there according to Polaroid...

HAVE THE DVG-1080P CAMERA, THE AUDIO AND VIDEO DO NOT MATCH UP!. IVE TRIED USING IT IN SEVERAL QUALITY SETTININGS AND ALWAYS END UP WITH AUDIO THAT RUNS FASTER THAN THE VIDEO!

Are you playing the video from the memory card? What I've found is that sometimes the file isn't processed cleanly from the card, than if you'd drag and dropped the video file to your desktop...

Scrren shows "Card Protected"

Take the card out.  There's a little switch on the card to write-protect it and stop you recording over important stuff.  Move the switch to the other position.

When i upload my videos from my polariod dvg-1080p onto my laptop, they come up as pictures. then when i try to watch them, they wont start

Question? I'm not trying to be rude at all, but did you actually take a video or did you possibly press the "photo" button by mistake? I know that I've done that a couple of times myself...it's entirely possible.

My Camcorder is taking a long time to format my sd card. It still isn't formatted. It's been about 30 minutes. Is there something I'm not doing right?

You should try formatting another card. If it formats the other card fine, then something is wrong with the card you were trying to format first...

Lens cap error on camcorder

That message is displayed when the camera senses no light. You may have a stuck iris on the camera. A good tech can pull the stuck iris and freee it up, but it's very easy to damage the camera, so I wouldn't recommend a consumer trying to do it.
