New PC,Windows 7(64 bit), reinstalled Microsoft picture It 2002. Get a message saying, program won't work properly.!? Any ideas?

Probably won't help but it's all I can come up with.

Default zoom is Ctrl + 0 (zero), though I think that would apply to everything not just one program.

Hi , I have Works 2004 and Picture It! works fine under my Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit . It's possible it would'nt work in a 64 bit system . If this is the case and you have Windows XP install disc , you could :
install a virtual version of W XP on your machine from http://www.vmware.com/products/player/
or partition your primary and install W XP on the new partition from http://download.cnet.com/Partition-Wizard-Home-Edition/3000-2094_4-10962200.html. Easy and safe , no specific knowledge required .

After many lengthy and heated emails with Microshaft, they have assured me that they will be doing nothing with Picture It! In fact, it was quite the opposite. The following is copy and pasted from one of the emails from them.

"I would suggest you to try installing the Windows Live Photo Gallery which is more advanced than the Picture It!"

unistall it and re-instal it no pictures will be lost it will all go back as you re install it.

That means that the program isent compatible with vista, its only compatible and works with Windows 98 / 95 / 2000 / Me / XP / NT

I dont know if there is any pacthes out there to make it work with vista, i couldent find any.

Hi all!!! I am soooo excited!! I found a solution to fix the abnormal program termination with my picture it 2002!!!! Many, many thanks to John Inzer who made this info available!! I am no computer expert, but persistence and research paid off! My software is now up and running!!!! Click on the link below: microsoft.com/downloads....etc.

Picture It 2002 is designed to be used with Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me), Microsoft Windows 2000, or Microsoft Windows XP, therefore I'd suggest to run your Picture It 2002 using Compatinity Mode --> Right click on the program icon--> properties-->Compatibility--> select one of the versions above
