A lot of different things starting with air pressure in your tires being correct, a clean air filter, replace the fuel filter, and drive sensibly, no jack rabbit starts and try to do the speed limit. A proper tune-up can go a long way and don't drive with the check engine light on. There could be something seriously wrong with your vehicle if your check engine light is on.
have you done a tune up.replace spark plugs and wires.replace fuel filter and air filter.clean fuel injectors.i do a tune up first if one not been done in long while.if you see check engine light flashing on have vechicle code scan.
If you removed the filter to clean it, while the unit was ON, that may be the problem. Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit from wall outlet. Leave unplugged for 15 minutes. Remove and replace the filter. After 15 minutes has elapsed, plug the unit into the wall outlet and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. The unit should have reset itself and reverted back to the original factory default settings. In which case, you can change the settings to what you desire.
Just remember to always turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF, when removing the filter to clean and replace it.
Hope this helped you solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.
It sounds like the filter is very dirty or one of the cooling fans has stopped working which causes the lamp temperature sensor to shut it down to prevent a lamp explosion or other damage. Check / Clean the filters as good air flow is important. That may be all that's wrong.
The light flashes after a certain amount of run time. It is a reminder to check the filter to see if it needs cleaning. Once you have checked/cleaned the filter and reinstalled it, press the filter button for 5 seconds and the light should go out.
