The slight buzz is coming from the water inlet valve solinoid. It's OK.

But check whether water is getting into the inlet tube of the washer. Check the filter at the rear of the dish washer body wher the inlet tube from your water tap is connected.

Washer fails to start. Power o.k. and water supply on. Filters cleaned. When set to start makes regular sound as if trying to start cycle. Any advice please?

Hi.

Check if the water is flowing inside machine or not.

If the tub is not filling, test the water level device (usually a float switch located on a side inside the tub).

Ensure that the switch is not stuck, and test the switch using a multimeter to ensure it is closing and opening. Disconnect power before testing the switch.

If water level is OK, then test the water valve.

The inlet valve is tested reading impedance on valve solenoid contacts. Disconnect power and remove the valve first.

If the valve solenoid is showing no continuity, then the valve must be replaced.

A dual valve sometimes can also be tested swapping hot and cold inlet contacts.

All test and repairing must be done by a professional.

Dishwasher wont fill with water

Make sure you get water to the dishwasher. Check to see if the water shut-off valve (located under the sink) is open. If you get water to the dishwasher, but there is still no water inside during the fill cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side), in which case replace the water valve.

My Zanussi dishwasher wont run a programme

Hello Paul, The first thing to try is to clean the filters at the rear pipe(s) that connect to the main water supply. It is quite common that when the water-flow is impeded, the programs may stop with flashing lights depending on the rate/amount of blockage.
So, pull out the unit and disconnect the rear pipe and give the in-line filters(s) a good going-over. Please let me know if this does the trick...
Best Regards,

Peter...

Zanussi ZDT6252 fills with water when not in use

Sounds like you have a leaking inlet valve. The best option is to replace it with a new one. It does have overfill protection on it but this may not work if its leaking.

Zanussi ZDT6252 Levelling

After having the same problem I resorted to sawing off the rear foot, only to then discover that there is a crosspoint screw on the middle at the fron that winds up or down the rear foot.

Zanussi zdt6053 will not fill with water, on any programme, it appears to try to start and makes a moise as if pumping, but there is not water to drain, and pump appears to operate if water is poured into...

Check float valve. It is probably stuck. This tells yuor machine to pump the water out and keeps the water valve from opening. Often it is something small that was placed in the dishwasher and lodges under the float telling machine that it is full of water when it is not. The float is somewhere on the bottom inside the machine typically. Make sure it moves freely.

Zanussi ZDT6252 stops 1min into cycle

You need to reset the computer on the bottom. Had the same problem with mine. The Blinking led means the heating element is bad and will not operate.
