Good night, I have an Pioneer AVIC-S2 GPS receiver model, and I have only the map of Florida. As I can install the maps of other U.S. cities, and also how I can update the map of Florida. THANK YOU, Jose Gomez Morel

Bring up the main menu and tap the system settings button

Then select the 5th option
Then tap on the option that looks like this

The language will be changed back to English.

i went through hell because my brat of a kid lost the SD card, I searched my house and fouind the back up cd

put the disc that come with it and then click were it says upgrape restore map then click were it says transfer map to sd card then save it on a file a wait until it dones to dowload it and thats all

GPS has global coverage. I see your problem is sourcing the map of Australia because the x1 comes only with Europe maps on CD. there may be a possibility the S2 maps work on the x1. Try contacting Pioneer Australia http://www.pioneer.com.au/customerservice/
