F4 indicates draining failure.Your washer drain pump starts and after 4 minutes the OWI(optical water indicator) detects that mashine is 'not empty'

Posible mailfunction reasons:
The drain pump must be defective/blocked
The siphon would have got closed
The control board would have got damaged
OWI defective

I had same error, I had put too much powder in and wrong stuff too, was really sudsy. Wouldnt completely empty. Fixed by starting and stopping machine until emptied. Hold down start/stop button for a few seconds to clear the f4 warning...

f4 fault on a whirlpool ADP5966 dishwasher means (1)Not draining or water level sensor not working . there might be blockage in the drainnage . find the blockage and remove the blockage. Other problems can be wiring or problems with the control board. hope this helps pls do let me know

Blocked waste outlet or maybe just a worn pump.
I fixed a new one today showing F4
I found a piece of broken glass stopping the waste pump.

spray arm jets probably blocked. assuming you can rotate the spray arm by hand and it is free, take spray arm out and clean.
