Broken water line for dispenser Bosch B20CS50SNS refrigerator.

I have a Bosch B20CS50SNS refrigerator. The water line is broken where it feeds into the bottom of the freezer door (heading to the dispenser). Any suggestions on a repair part of description of how to replace this water line?

Thanks. I have a piece of the plastic tubing...would appreciate some guidance on how to access the water line in the freezer door from where it's broken at the bottom hinge up to the dispenser.

Mr. Smith? Did you get this fixed? I have the same problem with same model # but technician says this water line cannot be replaced and I would have to buy a new door. Please reply or email me at [email protected]. Greatly appreciate it!

I have the same issue. Tried to replace but no success. All the foam insulation is glued on and is impossible to remove the dispenser.

I just repaired mine today. Bosch runs the water line in front of the condenser and over time the tubing gets brittle and snaps off. I made two repairs to this line in the last 4 years. This time the tubing snapped behind the upper rear panel. I had to pry the metal up after the screws were removed. I then cut away the foam searching for the water line. The water line runs through a plastic tube. I cut the outer tube, made the repair and screwed everything back together. I then drilled two holes in the outer metal back plate in the location where I removed the foam. I bought a can of foam and shot it in the cavity until it came out of the second hole. Problem solved. I love Bosch dishwashers, but I will never buy another Bosh refrigerator.

The water supply line to the water dispenser is foamed into the door but if the break is at the bottom there is a way to fix it.
    1. Remove bottom cover and disconnect water supply line.
1 Remove the cover for top hinge on the freezer door. Disconnect the electrical connections behind the hinge cover and remove the singel bolt from the top hinge. Lift up on the front of the hinge to remove the hinge. Lift up on the freezer door to remove.
    2. Remove the bottom hinge from the freezer door.
    3. The plastic bottom of the door is only held in place by foam. Using a putty knife pry the bottom plastic off.i cut thru the foam with the putty knife the is just came free.
    4. Cut back the foam around the hose to a depth of about 4 to 6 inchs. I used a long thin kitchen knife.
    5. Push the hose so it can be cut at 90 degrees.
Insert a push splice with a new section of hose attached.
    6 reassemble.

The above method (from Anonymous Thank you!) worked for me and saved $690 dollars for a new door!. just a couple of points to add.

    1. Be careful of sharp edges on the bottom of the door after removing the bottom plate.. I cut by finger on it. Before working in the door bottom, put some duct tape along the sharp edges and you will be good to go

    2. There was plastic sleeve over the broken hose that I just cur away and pulled off.

    3. Because it was too hard to go deep into the door to cur the hose and place the fittings, I had to trim the plastic hinges about 3/4 of an inch.

4.I used an offset medical scissors to cut the bad pipe away in order get access

    5. i stuffed the old foam back in and used bubble wrap to file in the empty space

    6. I used bathroom calk to put back the bottom plate.

    7. When putting in the bottom plate, be sure it is under the plastic molding on the door and it fits flush

It's most likely, just a piece of plastic tubing. You can get it at the big box hardware stores or at a decent aquarium supply store. Just remove the covers and nip a small piece off to take along so you get the right size. When you install the new hose, dip the snd into some rubbing alcohol. This will lubricate it. The alcohol will evaporate in minutes so, it's harmless.

Bosch B26FT50SNS fridge. How to repair broken wire in left ice/water door?

To repair a broken wire in the left ice/water door of the Bosch B26FT50SNS fridge, it is possible to disassemble the left door water/ice dispenser. However, it is important to note that this process can be complicated and should only be attempted by someone with experience in appliance repair.

To begin, unplug the fridge from the power source and remove any items from the door shelves. Locate the screws that hold the dispenser cover in place and remove them using a screwdriver. Carefully pry off the cover and set it aside.

Next, locate the wire that needs to be repaired and determine where it is broken. Cut away any damaged sections of wire and strip the ends of the remaining wires. Twist together the ends of the wire that was cut and use electrical tape or wire nuts to secure them together.

Reassemble the dispenser cover by aligning it with the door and pressing it into place. Replace the screws that hold it in place and tighten them securely.

Finally, plug the fridge back in and test the ice/water dispenser to ensure that it is working properly.

In summary, to repair a broken wire in the left ice/water door of a Bosch B26FT50SNS fridge, you can disassemble the left door water/ice dispenser, locate and repair the broken wire, and reassemble the dispenser cover.

The water supply hose where it enters the door at the bottom has cracked and broken how do we replace the hose in the door

The line going into the dispenser is a 5/16 line. You'll have to remove the front of the dispenser on the door to get access to the line to unclip it. Once you have that done you can pull the line out from the bottom. At this point there are a variety of different unions, compression fittings, etc. to splice the line. After that you just feed the line back through the bottom of the door, clip it back in place, put the dispenser back together and your done.

Water dispenser line is broken at connector end in the back of the refrigerator. Pieces of the broken pipe are glued inside the connector. Can we buy a new connector and glue it to the existing pipe? If...

The connector is a push on . Push in on the ring , while pulling out on the broken plastic line . Cut the end of the existing line , and just push into the connector snugly . Uses no glue or adhesive .
