1. Locate na expansion slot in your computer that will accept your sound card.
2.Gently place the sound card on top of the slot. Line up the pins on the sound card with the slot and push the card down so that it sits in the slot. Be sure that the card is securely in the slot and pushed all the way in.
3.If your computer has an audio cable that connects the CD-ROM drive directly to the sound card, locate it and plug it in to the card. Consult the documentation that came with your sound card to determine the location of the CD-ROM audio connector on the card. This cable is rarely necessary with current audio hardware.MORE INFO.IN NEXT SLOT

I dont have sound

Good day sir, sound problems solutions could be any of the following:
  • You did not install a sound card, the enlight enpc has no built in sound port, so you need to install one, I recomend Creative Labs or Realtek sound card, (any sound card will do if you like).
  • If you buy one, there is a CD driver, use the CD to install the sound card driver files.
  • Or buy a USB sound card. (as long as you are using the XP windows version for compatibility.
Install the sound card on any available PCI slot and use the CD to install the driver. thats it!

Sound

You will need drivers for your sound card. Go to Control Panel.....select Device Manager....find your sound card on the list.....Right click on it and select Properties........select drivers tab.......have windows look for drivers and install. You can also install your card in ADD/REMOVE HADRWARE in control panel. Have windows search for new hardware. When it finds your sound card follow prompts to install.

I want install my sound card by net c97 now

Hy i'm Kabeer Khan for installing sound card it is first required AMR(Audio Modem Riser) slot on your motherboard. AMR slot is 64 pin very smal slot is like as PCI(Peripheral Compnent Interconnect) If it avialable then open your sound card and try to set your sound card. Remember one thing during installing card it must be considered that the cuts of slots should be matched according to your card alignment. After installing card bind you CPU and install driver that would be given with your sound card packet for this open conrol panel and found add hardware icon and double click on it then install driver from CD option would be selected and click next. When wizard is finished you will be able to use your sound card.
Thanks.

HOW TO INSTALL SOUND CARD DRIVERS WITH CD ROM

Hi,
Providing the CD Rom, is the same software as the sound-card.
If the sound card, is a seperate ( Add-On ) the drivers cd should accompany the card. if there are no drivers with the card. you can usually visit the manufacturers website ( Support centre ) And download the Drivers.
Additionally, you may have to disable the on-board sound-card ( Via The Bios ) and instruct the computer to start up, with the required or installed card.
If you are running an operating system, such as Windows XP, it should automatically detect and install the best drivers for the device. although you may not get full functionability.
If you install from CD Rom, ensure the card is installed first, then insert the CD, and open to find the Icon ( setup.exe Or Similar )
