The last time I looked at heaters for jacuzzi tubs they are designed to keep the water at the temperature you filled the tub and not heat up the water from cold to hot.

Water not heating

Hey James,,
There is a couple reasons... the heater controls have quit working, the upper and lower heating elements have gone bad,,, the water heater breaker has tripped,,, Most newer units have a electronic pad the gives you codes as to whats wrong...mine has little flashing lights..
.If you can't trouble shoot, you need to get a qualified electrician to look at it... ask one of your neighbors if they know how..
This is a little deeper.. http://www.ragsdaleair.com/blog/3-common-water-heater-problems-that-make-your-hot-water-not-hot-enough-4

Type 60870 not heating water!Have a wiring giagram for trouble shooting?

Could be: faulty power board (completly or only relay for heating element), faulty wiring between heating element and power board, faulty heating element (interruption, short circuit or current leakage,on some heaters faulty thermal protection).

Depending on the model, the display shows the i60 fault code or the LED end of the program will flash 6 times (only model without display).

Have an LP gas water heater with White Rogers control that cycles on and off 3 times before remaining on. Water heater is 5 years old with forced exhaust. Heats water fine once it remains on. Do you...

From what you say, I would CLEAN the thermocoupler with either steel wool or a green scouring pad (dry) and then wipe off the residue with a clean cloth. If you still have trouble then it could be a gas valve that is sticking.

The boiler wont fire up and the blue light flashes once per second

Let's see what we can do to trouble-shoot this boiler--

First of all-- Are we talking about a Hot Water 'Boiler'-- In other words does this boiler heat water that circulates thru the house, to keep you warm?

Next-- What is your fuel?

Have you Shut the system down, to reset it?-- What happens when it comes back on again?-- Clicking sounds-- pumps trying to start-- solenoids trying to open, etc.-- Tell us what you observe-- so we can help you trouble shoot this problem.
