The chair was on and while massaging one wheel just "popped" we have been able to remove wheel and have found that the metal part of the wheel has broken. How can we get this fixed?
A good number of stores sell replacement wheels for rolling chairs. You
could try any store that sells rolling chairs actually. Bring the
broken wheel with you to make sure you're getting the right size.

The best thing to do would be to call Osaki directly and talk to their technical support. I just did a quick search and found their number here - Massage Chair Warranty Information
It
is dangerous to get a massage directly on the area where you have a broken bone
because it can cause extreme pain and discomfort, and can sometimes re-break
the bone. It can be helpful to massage the area surrounding the bone in order
to help bring more blood to the area, but a massage directly on the area should
be avoided. If you know your massage chair very well and you can set it to stay
only in the area near the broken bone, then it is okay. If not, then a manual
massage from a massage therapist is safer because you can tell him/her the area
to stay away from
A standard massage chair is a chair that's the patient sits on while getting a massage. These chairs have an ergonomic design. Unlike mechanical massage chairs, they are lightweight and portable.
I
think so. Let's face it; although
massage chairs can be expensive, they are a one-time fee that will pay off in
the long run; whereas seeing a masseuse every week is an ongoing cost. Even putting price aside, buying a massage
chair adds a level of convenience to your life.
Having a massage chair in your home is like having a therapist on call
24/7.
sounds like the drive treads are clogged with fabric from the chair. Unzip front fabrics to expose mechanism and check for a jam. Unplug unit and carefully remove jam with pliers
We found a repairman!!
Our 10 yr old EMS-9 Interactive Health chair just stopped working about 6 mos ago. After getting no help at all from Interactive Health, except to buy a new chair (!), we finally found a man who fixed it. It was a pinched wire in the remote. A simple fix. He tried to charge us only $20.00! (We gave him much more, it was worth it) We love this chair! You would think that the company would be more forthcoming with repair options if they want people to recommend their products. Anyway, hope this helps someone else too. If you want to contact the person we found to fix it you may email us at [email protected] and I'll gladly pass it along to you.
