Windows live messenger error 800700e

every time itry to sign into messenger, it says... windows live messenger has failed because the service is temporaily unavailable, please try later....i then click on show details and error code 8007007e comes up, i have uninstalled and reinstalled, but nothing seems to work ... can any one help me please

Theres a bug on the latest version of Microsoft Windows Live Messenger, try to use version here's the link http://g.live.com/1rewlive3/en/wlsetup-all.exe

1. Start > run > sfc /scannow
2. Insert windows xp cd
3. Restart computer
4. You can skip step 1-3 but its strongly advised you do it.
5. Uninstall msn messenger with ZapMessenger you can download it from:

6. Download and install Windows Installer Cleanup you can download it from:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/en-us
7. Run the utility, select all items concerning Windows Live, delete the following:
- Windows Live Call

- Windows Live Essentials
- Windows Live Messenger
- Windows Live Sign-in Assistant

8. Then restart computer
9. Download msn messenger again. You can download it from

the reason that happens that MSN messenger uses IE as a platform to Run the messenger

i think we need to uninstall the SP3 for windowsXP
