I have a JBL subwoofer and it the green light keeps flickering red , the sound is mimimal and if i turn it up it pops n cuts out , unable to get much volume from the speaker.

Has nothing to do with the signal or source - it is a failure of the turn on circuit - I repair this amp - can help if you find my add here or I am located on ebay as well. Juust do a search for We Repair JBL and find the model :)

if your serial number starts with ha then it's probably a bad capacitor C72 . 6.8uf 100v np electrolytic. replace it with a higher voltage capacitor of the same value.
