Magnavox ZV420MW8 Where do I imput the channel I want to set up for a timed recording. I cannot find that anywhere?

This recorder only records inline. This means that there is no channel on recorder. It records whatever your satellite or cable box is showing. You'll have to change the channel on that.

I don't know that this will work for timed recording. You'll have to make sure that your cable/satellite is on and set to the proper channel before you leave. This wont work if you're recording multiple shows on different channels while you're gone. In that case you may need a different recorder.

When we try to play a VCR tape on the Magnavox ZV420MW8 it play for about 15 seconds and then stops, ejects the tape and powers down.
