If you do not see water in the tube and the clothes have spun out enough to go into the dryer when the washer cycle finishes the washer has drained out all of the water the water you hear in the tub when the door is open and you spin the tub with your hand that liquid is in the sealed balance ring , that is a sealed channel around the front of the tub to help the machine stay balanced it does not come out

Neptune washer ballasting water

No, drain it. Just remove the drain hose from the clip at the rear and low the hose into a pail or cooking tray. Gravity will do the rest. Make sure it is always kept upright unless you have the transport brackets.

Water trapped below the barrel

It is normal to have residual water in the drain lines and drain pump following a wash cycle. This is the low point of the drain cycle and gravity will ALWAYS cause some water to be there. As long as the water is not visible in the spin basket, and the washer is properly draining during the wash and rinse cycles, you have nothing to worry about.

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this is helpful to you.

Why won't the washer drain? Pump appears to be

if this issue is because you hear water in the machine when the tub spins......
thats normal, its called the balance ring
centrifical force, pushes the water in the lid, outward helping to use the sling weight, as a counter balance
its 100 percent normal to hear sloshing when turning the tub by hand

Water is always left in the machine when the cycle finishes

Because the water pump operates as a timed cycle, a partially blocked water passage either from the outer drum to the pump, inside the pump, or from the pump to the house drain is restricting the amount of water being pumped. Remove the drain hose from the house drain just enough that you can watch the water flow during a normal pump cycle. The water should be coming out quite forcefully--if just a trickle, then something is blocking the flow. Look for kinked hoses or even a slow running pump.

Hi. The washer experienced difficulty draining. The code represents this issue. Here's a check list to combat these issues. (code nd)

Check for a kinked drain hose.
Check for a plugged stand pipe.

Standing water in the barrel

Unfortunatly this is normal for the neptune washers and there is no solution other than to use the machine often so the water does not stagnate.

Water left in barrel (not the tumbler)

If you can't see any water and just hear it, this is completely normal. This is a front load washer and has a special cover of the inner tub basket. This cover contains some water that has been sealed in at the factory to keep the load balanced while it is spinning.
