Blueant Supertooth Light Bluetooth Speaker Car Kit Logo
Anonymous Posted on Apr 03, 2010

I have a BlueAnt Supertooth BTSLBC3 car speaker that won't pair up to my new BlackBerry curve 8530 phone. The BlackBerry won't see the BlueAnt Supertooth BTSLBC3. The BlueAnt Supertooth BTSLBC3 is paired up (and works fine) with my old ATT prepayed Nokia flip phone. Why isn't the BlackBerry seeing the BlueAnt Supertooth BTSLBC3?

Do you have the Supertooth 3, Supertooth Light, S1 or S2?

It would say on the back of the unit, look for supertooth.

Or go to www.myblueant.com and search for the product specifically.

I have a new phone (HTC EVO) and have lost my manual and can't figure out how to pair it to my BlueAnt Model BTSLBC3

Hey,

All you need to do is put the device into pair mode. To do this hold the green button on the ST Light, while holding the green button release the microphone arm. You should get a blue/red flash letting you know the device is in pair mode. When you get this, go to your phones bluetooth menu and search for devices. Select the ST Light and if prompted enter the pin 0000.

Having difficulty pairing BlueAnt ST3 with Blackberry Curve. Blackberry recognizes BlueAnt but does not accept code of 0000. Says "connection failed"

Make sure the device is in pair mode, to put it into pair mode hold the green button down until you hear a language loop (with the device off). When you hear the language of your choice let go of the green button and press it once right away. When you hear that go to your phones bluetooth menu and enter pin code 000 when prompted. If this does not work do a hardreset on your phone by removing the battery while it is powered on, when it is back up research and repair and it should work.

I would pair the device with anohter model of phone and see if the issue carries across, by doing that you can isolate the specific source of the problem (phone or device). Do you happen to have a blackberry?
