I have a chamberlain 953CD New will it work for a Lift-master ?

I have a gargare door and the one i have it is Lift-master remote control, and the gargare door control is Lift-master Security+ 973LM, I am tryng the new remote control of Chamberlain 953CD, I had just buy, Now i try to reset as directions on the paper that came with it. Nothing is working for my gargare door with the gargare to open .

You may need a C943 as the + can make the siginal different.[Chambelain or Merlin]

Master lift remotes suddenly won't work. Wired panel button works opening and closing door.

Make sure the light in the wall control is not blinking. If it is press and hold the lock button on the wall control for 3 seconds.

Have a chamberlain garage door opener that doesnt allow any of our remotes work the main button inside door works service man says we need a receiver 953cd cant find one does this make sense

open the back of the remote and see what the "dip" switches are mark...1-4 are settings maybe more and make sure the settings for the opener in the rear of it are set on the same configuration. Hope this fixes the problem.

Lift master garage door model #101 241 A. Date on unit Oct 1995. house control works fine. Remote controll malfunctions . Will work when light on unit goes out most of the time

If your battery is good it sounds like your remote or the logic board is failing.

I have a 955cd hooked up to an old opener with a 953cd opener that works just fine just bought another opener yesterday a 950cb can not get it to program.

Press and release the learn button and then press the button on the remote. If this does not work press and hold the learn button and as you are pressing it press the button on the remote. Thanks BB

The klik-1 will code in to this opener. The directions on the manual are very specific, but if followed it will work. There is also a number for step by step help on the directions. Thanks BB
