How do I undo call forwarding on an RCA 25415RE3-A telephone?

Call forwarding typically can redirect incoming calls to any other domestic telephone number, but the owner of the forwarded line must pay any toll charges for forwarded calls. Call forwarding is often enabled by dialing *72 followed by the telephone number to which calls should be forwarded. Once someone answers, call forwarding is in effect. If no one answers or the line is busy, the dialing sequence must be repeated to effect call forwarding. Call forwarding is disabled by dialing *73. This feature requires a subscription from the telephone company. Also available in some areas is Remote Access to call forwarding, which permit the control over call forwarding from telephones other than the subscriber's telephone. Normally it's *72 to forward calls and *73 to cancel. If that doesn't work, contact your telephone company for their instructions regarding call forwarding.

I have the same problem, its plugged in, the dial tone is there but the display is not working. Can someone help us?

Go near the base of the corded phone to register your cordless phone. Press "menu" on your cordless phone and press arrow key till you see "Registration". Press "Select" key. The sreen will show "Yes" and "No" sign. Press arrow key once to select "Yes" then press "Select" key. The sreeen will show "Registerring.." , at this time press "Page" key on the corded or base phone and hold it for a few seconds until you hear a beeping sound. This is the sign the the phones are syncronized. You can now use your cordless phone.

All of the "features" you are having problems with require AC power, I think you have a bad power supply, the plug on the phone is bad or something inside has fried. If you have tried switching the power adaptor with one that you know works then look at the plug in the phone. Make sure the contact is clean and not damaged. If this does not work you may have to replace the phone.

The 25414RE3 isn't the model with the answering machine. The one that has the answering machine is the 25415RE3.

As for the problem, does the answering machine part of the unit actually pick up the line? Does it announce your pre-recorded message? Does it just not record the caller's response?
