Who makes the Optimus DV 5040 camera? I can't find anything on the internet about who makes these things. I need a replacement part and don't know who to contact.

Drivers and owners manuals can be downloaded HERE. There was a firmware update for the DV-5040 in July of 2009. This can be downloaded HERE, but be sure to follow the directions exactly. If you are referring to the editing software by Ulead, any editing software will work.

I have both the manual and driver. I also have a firmware update to make it 1.10
It says Traveler but this camera was made under at least 2 brands from
the company in China. Optimus and Traveler. Both are part number
16-3899 but are model DV-5040
