    I am trying to get my Laserjet 6L to work and I don't know how to do it and what I do. I have a drive disks to load it and the computer want look at them and tells me it can't read them because they aren't digital
    Help i am a computer idiot but am trying

Installation of these drivers can be performed via Devices and Printers , formerly known as the Add Printer Wizard . NOTE: If the model specific driver that you are looking for does not appear in the list of available printers, clicking the Windows Update button underneath the list of available printers may provide additional drivers to choose from. Requires opt-in to Microsoft Windows Update and internet connection.

Driver hp LaserJet l6 model c3990a
You can download drivers and manuals for HP products from the HP website. Go to http://www.hp.com/support and click on the map of the USA.
On the next page, click on United States (English)
Under "Support for your prducts" click on "Download drivers and software"
In the "For product" box enter the model number of your product and click on the arrow to the right of the box.
You can now click on the item that you want to download.

Visit this site, choose the specific variation of this printer model (the Pro or something in the series) then choose your OS (o) to get the driver software.
