How do you put a radio code in on a rover 200 v reg? i have the code for it

    thanks. we know the code we just dont know what to do after the code has been put it. which buttons do you press?

    If you visit the website quoted above , then this has all the various code entry instructions listed, so the correct method will depend on the actual make+model of radio fitted into your Rover.

    They fit various makes of radio into Rover , but the most popular is the PHILIPS

Unfortunately the code for your radio will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original Rover factory database which is not commercially available.

Will only be available from your Rover Dealer or by using a Radio decoding Service.....Sorry !

Rover 45 club diesel radio locked,battery change
The radio will have to be removed from the car dashboard

.Then please POST A NEW QUESTION

quoting  the MAKE + MODEL of your radio plus ALL the LETTERS and NUMBERS on any LABELS , BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING. 


There should be a 14 character Serial Number (often found stamped in the metal casing )

Please note: Unfortunately not all radio codes are available by quoting the Serial Number

Rover 200 fob will not lock/unlock or disarm the immobiliser is there anyway of bypassing it?
Hi, I have a 1999 reg Rover 200 1.4. When I bought the car it did not come with a fob. To cut a long story short, the battery went flat and now I cannot start the car with the key. Is there anyway I can start her without buying a fob? Cheers :o)

Radio Code Unlock?
If it's the original radio, then the landrover dealer will sort it, via the database. reg number, and vin number usually required. But check in the info wallet that should have come with your car, it's usually stored in there, on a security card.

Slide the radio out and record the Radio serial number stamped on the case.Contact your nearest Land Rover dealer and they have to request this from the factory.They will only give this to you if it is not reported stolen.

Hi, i have a rover 25 x reg and i had the alternator changed which ment that the battery had to be removed and it now deplays code and i do not have my handbook as they was not given to me when i purchased my car??
