What to use for Audio-out on Denon AVR-2807?

I have the AVR-2807. I have connected a turntable to it and this works fine. I want to convert some of my LP phonograph music to MP3 files, so I have purchased the xitel INport deluxe to connect my Denon receiver to my computer's USB port.

Problem is I don't know where to plug the red & white RCA-type connectors to the Denon! The xitel instructions say to connect to audio outputs that are usually labeled Line Out, Aux Out, Tape Rec or Send.

I am puzzled. Where do I connect the cable to have the turntable audio routed to my xitel device??

Graeme - thanks for the suggestion. I have already found the connectors for tape deck in and out. One thing I hadn't considered was the Denon programming steps required to feed signal to these connectors!

On page 42 of the Denon manual is a small section describing how to press the ZONE2/REC SELECT button until RECOUT LED lights up for a few moments on the display, then select the function to output before the RECOUT light goes out.

Now that I have masteres this programming step I cn record using the xitel INport just fine.

Hi Karmor

Use the Tape Out(rec) connections on the Denon. If that model has a rec out selector, then be sure to select phono as well. All sweet and ready to rip them files!!

regards
Graeme

How do I get audio from my tv to my receiver through an hdmi cable? AVR 2807

Your tv needs to have an HDMI out. If it has just connect that to the Denon. Tv might not have HDMI out so connect an optical cable from the tv's optical out to the Denon's optical in.

Can't get the sound to work on my TV using the Denon AVR-2807

In the 2807 the HDMI out is a video out only. Audio is not processed through the HDMI output.
If you are using speakers it is best to adjust the playback modes to stereo if you are annoyed with surround sound modes.
Please comment if I helped.

I have a denon avr-2807 receiver. on tv mode, i can only get analog signals. i am using an optical cable and the signal is only transmitted in digital. how can i correct this?

An optical cable is digital but its only audio not video. Are you connected to a cable or satellite box, are you using composit video, s-vid, component video, or hdmi? What kind of cable goes from your denon to your tv?

Denon AVR 2807 with Bose Acoustimass 15

Well,i can tell you are not very focus, cause you posted Denon AVR-2807 with Bose AC 15 problem, but under your details, you put down AVR-5807!
First of all,it is so unfortunate that you are NOT able to gain and experience to true ability in sound for this wonderful receiver when you are using a dual tweeters speakers and expect to have good sound separation as a TWO WAY speakers(a tweeter and a midrange-for true high frequency and mid frequency sound separation.)
Secondly, you have defeated the audio configuration of the Denon AVR-2807,since all your speakers are control BY the Bose subwoofer.
Now,i could show you a way to hook this up,and it doesn't matter how you connect them, they are the "bicycle tires" installed with a "Porche"engine if you know what i mean.
If you want a good recommendation for your "beast",i will more than happy to show you the way!
Cheers,
