Hi!!!

Check for reset switch or loose connection, also check power cord's continuity, 90% of the time it's where the problem is.

Can I use popcorn butter in the popcorn maker

IF YOU PUT BUTTER IN FOR POPPING CYCLE IT WILL BURN. BUTTER IS ADDED WHEN MAKING CARMEL CORN WHILE POPPING INSTEAD OF THE COATING THE CORN AFTER IT IS POPPED METHOD BUT, IT IS ADDED LATER NOT WHEN YOU WOULD PUT OIL IN.

Kernels wont pop compleatly

The kettle temp is not getting hot enough so your seeds dry out and have no moisture left to pop. Very stale corn seed will give you similar results.

How much oil or corn do you use in the Back to Basics Pop Corn Popper for the stove

unless you have the instruction manual, only trial-and-error will tell you. Start with 2 tablespoons of oil and 1/2 cup of corn kernals. If there is oil left after the corn is popped, decrease the amount of oil by a teaspoon. If the popped corn is burned, increase the oil by a teaspoon. As for the corn, if the pot is full when the popping is done, 1/2 cup is the right amount. If the popped corn over flows, 1/2 cup is too much. Vary the oil and corn until you get it right. Good luck! I love popcorn, so I wish you the best.

Half the Kernals spit out uncooked

It coud be 2 things. Either a low grade of popping corn, or old popping corn. Hot air poppers blow the same temperature, until you shut them off. Although the better grades of popping corn cost a good amount more, you don't throw half of it away. Once the popping corn container has been opened, you should use it up within about 3 months. The internal moisture content is what determines whether corn will pop or not. Too much or too little moisture will not allow the corn to pop.

Cuisinart popcorn popper directions

If you are using the Cuisinart pop corn poppper, don't use olive oil. Use vegetable oil. Two teaspoons is enough with 1/3 cup of premium kernels. That is it. Turn on the machine and wait til it stops popping. I LOVE my new pop corn popper. I will not do the hot air one again. I always had kernels flying all over my kitchen and popped popcorn everywhere, The Cuisinart popper is the best....

Ccp-510 popcorn popper pops only small amount and quits

I had the same problem when I firs bought mine. I followed the instructions as to the proportion of corn to oil. Forget the book! I found that with this machine I had to use three times the oil that was caled for in the instructions to get all of the corn to pop. Better yet, we started purchasing the premade kits with the oil, popcorn and salt. Since changing to both of these systems we have enjoyed GREAT ppcorn!

Westbend hot air popcorn maker

Method One
  1. Pour a quarter cup of popcorn kernels into a paper bag.
  2. Fold the top of the bag three times.
  3. Place the paper bag in the microwave.
  4. Set the timer for 40 to 60 seconds. (mine took 3-4 minutes)
  5. Wait and have fun.
  6. Remove the bag and pour the popcorn into a dish.
  7. Cook unbaked kernels for about 15 to 20 seconds.
  8. Add the extra popcorn to the other batch.
  9. Pour melted butter and salt onto the popcorn.
  10. Serve.
Method Two
  1. Take a frying pan and a fitting lid.
  2. Put some grease (canola oil for example) in it to make sure your corns won't stick to your pan.
  3. Wait until the pan is hot--you can add 1 or 2 kernels to the pan as it heats up... when they pop, the pan is hot enough to add the rest of the corn
  4. Put in the corns, make sure you use corns which are meant to use in a pan.
  5. Put on the lid fast! Make sure no corns flip out. Shake your pan a few times to make sure all corns are loose.
  6. Now you hear a lot of pops, just wait until all sound is gone.
  7. When nothing happens quickly take of the pan and put your corns in a bowl.
  8. Put on salt/sugar.
  9. Serve.
Method Three
  1. Buy some microwave popcorn.
  2. Follow the instructions.
  3. Serve.
