HI there you need to charged minimum 8 to 12 hours the new battery before use. Otherwise it will show you low batteries. Please confirm me that. Thanks.

Testimonial: "hi will try that but what im findinding also is when i first turn on camera it shows 2bars for bat life but if i play with the dial for a bit it will "

Wont take a pic and it hasd a flashing red eye

Hi kv,

Normally that would indicate the flash capacitor building enough of a charge to trigger. If the batteries are getting low, this can take a while. The camera may even shut itself off.

Make sure you have good fresh batteries in your camera.

As an alternative, try turning off the flash completely and trying it. That will either confirm it, or make me look like an idiot.

Best regards
Mike

Hello. My daughter has had her samsung S73 for 3

The eye flashing is normal when the flash is trying to charge up , if the batteries are healthy the camera won`t take a picture until the flash is charged fully.Try turning the flash off and see if the camera fires, get some higher rated rechargeable batteries (2000mah) or above this may resolve your problem.

Hi there.
You may not like this solution, but it's real anyway. Average low-end digital camera life span is approximately 2 years depending on how much you use it. They vary between manufacturer. Low-end cameras ($100. to $200. range) have an approximate 1500 to 3000 shutter clicks which equates to about 1 cent per photo. Granted, more expensive cameras equal more shutter clicks and thusly and lower cost ratio. So, I'm sorry to say that you have just about hit the life span of your device. It would cost more to fix than to purchase a new one.
I hope this helps you, but no one here can suggest a "fix" for it. Thanks for coming to FixYa, and feel free to rate my solution.

Battery refresh problem

You will probably need a new battery as NiCd dont' last forever. However, before buying one, try out the camera on the mains adaptor. This will tell you if there is a problem with the camera.

Good luck

Batteries

This happens with almost all digital cameras. You have a couple options. first you can buy lithium batteries, which are a little more expensive but last considerably longer in digital cameras.

The second is you can buy rechargeable batteries, which in my opinion is the best option because you can reuse them, and they also last really long in digital cameras.

the problem is, you just cant really put normal batteries in digital cameras. Lame but true

I hope that my answer was of help!
