Water collecting in refrigerator and ice collecting in freezer

Sounds like you have a clogged defrost drain tube. removing back panel of freezer will give you access to drain trough, melt away the ice with a hair dryer, youll find a drain hole under there somewhere,pouring boiling water down the drain will clear it pretty quickly( i use a steam machine purchased from the infomercials works awesome, after you clear it and all water drain down tube wrap a piece of solid copper wire around the heater( black heater right above the drain trough) and stick it in the whole maybe an inch or so. now every time the heater comes on to defrost it will prevent the hole from freezing over

I have the fridge that it's all fridge ontop and freezer is on the bottom (newer version) and there is sooo much ice/frost that built up in the back wall of the freezer that I cant even chip it away...now my fridge part seems to not be cold anymore. What is the best way to get about 2 inches of ice/frost off my freezer walls?

Thre is no source of water within the machine - only ways of condensing it out of moist air that comes in from outside.

Have a really careful look at the doors. Make sure they fit properly, that the seals aren't damaged, that nothing inside is stopping them from closing completely and that no helpful child has left the doors open for a while to try to cool the room down a bit (and of course, check that no helpful child has spilt liquid inside and "forgotten" to mention the fact).
