MDOP (ERD Commander 2009 R2 v6) DaRT6.0 does not

MDOP (ERD Commander 2009 R2 v6) DaRT6.0 (32-bit) does not show locksmith for Windows Home Premium. Followed process, provided Vista CD for the boot image, everything looks normal. When booted from CD, locksmith is unavailable. Any idea why?

This DOES work on Vista Business.

Right click on file and click troubleshoot compatibility and try and run under vista

ERD commander 2007 works for Vista, i have used it several times. ERD cannout always log into the operating system when you boot to it. Often if it is too damaged it wont log in and allow you to system restore or anything.

From my point of view the best option is to download Winternals ERD Commander 2007 from a torrent website (http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/117241225/winternals?tab=summary ), burd the .iso image on a CD, boot from that CD and the use the tool called "Locksmith". It works just fine.

Lockedout. vist 32, no user but me.

Use ERD Commander and use locksmith to change "your" password (if it will let you), click OK and reboot the PC, use the new password to log in.
If that does not work then ERD commander has not attached itself to Vista's registry so you will need to download the latest version.
It will be in ISO format so just use burning software to burn it to CD.

I dont have device driver

you can use any third party software (ERD COMMANDER) for your data backup. frist you should backuped your data in any other external hard drive then restore your laptop through system restore wizard.

2 after data backup you have alerady a laptop recovery disc or recovery partition in tour laptop drive through these option i think you should succeed.
