You have to unscrew the crown once it is unscrewed can you pull it out once for the day and twice for your time. Be sure to screw the crown back in when you're finished or else you'll get moisture inside.

Make sure the voltage on the new battery is correct. Just because a battery is new does not mean it is good. That is likely the problem.

mcdevito75 here, BEST BET, Look for a small watch repair shop in your area for a replacement band, or you may want an orginal band to maintain authenticity, a band straight from Tag Heur can be ordered.

Some watches need to have the crown unscrewed.
Try turning it anticlockwise then pull out.

If this doesn't solve your problem, go to the TAG site "tagheuer.com" and find your nearest dealer.

The newer straps on TAG are generally wider than the professional series and the cost of a new genuine TAG heuer clasp or bracelet may easily exceed the costof buying an entire watch of that series used.
I recommend searching for an after-market strap/ buckle usuing your case back numbers as the search criteria.

The knob is a screw-cap seal. When closed (screwed in) it closes the chamber to prevent water from entering the watch.

You will need to unscrew it. It should snap out. In this position, you can wind the watch. Pull the knob out one click, and you can adjust the date. Pull the knob another one more click, and you can adjust the time.

Push the knob back in. In order to seal the watch back up, you will need to push the knob in while turning the knob. You will know you did it correctly when the knob will not turn any further.

Hard to tell without knowing what model or caliber number (usually on back). Generally, if you pull the crown (winding knob) out all the way you can set the time. Push it ONE click in, you can set the date. Check with the manufacturers website for a book of instructions you can download.
