Connecting the net with motorola w230 mobile

Hi,
The motorola cd provided with the phone is meant for drivers for xp and they dont work for vista so u have to download drivers for vista and first of all uninstall phone tools and then install driver and then again install phone tools and then connect the phone it will work
u can register and download the drivers from motodev.com for free

i dont have any cd to connect my w230 mobile phone with pc
when i was brought this mobile they don't given any cd to install now what can i do?

Do you have Moto tools cd to allow connection of phone to PC?
Do you have a mini USB cable?
I buy these mini USB from dollar stores and I have the Software on a web backup I can e-mail you a link, or you can search the web for torrents or from ARES peer-to-peer for MOTO TOOLS 4.

Do you have the min sd card?

You can get these from radio shack for about $25 with adapters for card readers. The card reader from Radio Shack is about $5

If you use the mini sd you can just load pictres and music on the sd card from your PC.

Install PC charging driver from MOtorola site, then install the modem driver http://timhome.homedns.org/bin/moto_w230_gprs.inf on the Philog serial modem, then create a new Internet connection via modem, phone number +CGDATA . Set in the phone your provider's GPRS settings. This driver is only for Windows XP. It doesn't work on Vista.
