How to full format nokia 5130c-2 mobile. *#7370# is not working in my hand set, *#7780# is not formatting all the phone memory. I have contacts in phone memory, after using that code still it showing the contacts in phone, So tell me how i have to format all the phone

Have you tried the key combination method? if not try it.. Press * - 3 - Green button and power button simultaneously, I mean you have to press all the buttons while the phone is switched off. It'll boot up and you'll be presented with a menu to provide your input. Good luck...

    Type in *#7730# as you type in number before dialing. You'll be asked to enter the security code, if you never changed the code, enter 12345

    Please note that all your contacts and messages saved on your phone will be wiped out, so it's best to back up everything or write down or transfer before you perform this task.

I have forgot my securitycode for my mobile nokia 3110c
try 1234,12345 or 0000
if they dont work. call nokia they'll tell you what to do exactly

OR try this first
At the standby screen type the code:
*#7370#

or hold down the following 3 buttons when you first switch the handset on:
[Green, pick up call] + [3, def] + [*+]

Be warned this will delete all information on the handset and return the handset to a 'fresh out of the box' state. All contacts, installed applications, calender entries etc will be lost.

If you want a soft reset then there is another code:
*#7780#

This code will rewrite a few system files but doesn't peform a full format like the other two codes above.

*EDIT* Make sure you have a full battery when reformatting a phone.

I have one n72 that phone net work
No Need To worry Abt it just keep it on the ground find big stone and throw it on ur phone ha ha ha ha ha .......... Just joking ya ok seriously select ur network as a manual and set home network means which you are using and switch off and switch on. after this again select automatic mode and do the same process. then also it doesn't worked then remove ur memory card and copy all contacts to sim memory and format ur mobile using*#7 780# or 7370 . by this your phone memory will formatted. now format your memory card in pc and put it in mobile and go to tools and format mmc once again. now ur problem is solved. your mobile is refreshed it's software. Remember that password which you are given when formatting your phone memory using codes. have any doubt just call me on +919959356562
