Already fixed? Otherwise google - www.kruis.nl on top choose onderdelen. Then left choose Makita. After that put in centertop your machine type. Then you will see schematic and partlist

SOURCE: my chuck is broke , on my 18v makita cordless

Put the chuck key on and strike it with a hammer counter clockwise. the chuck key must be properly seated in the hole. Once the chuck is brokrn free, you can unscrew it my hand. Buy a new chuck an screw it in olace and againm strike the key but no as hard clockwise. It will self tighten more as it is used, Good Luck-Ned-

SOURCE: I have just purchased a Makita 8391DWPETK 18V Cordless Combi Drill - how do i actually put a drill bit in? Do I need to take off the plastic ring?

The large black part of the chuck should turn left and right to extend (close) and retract (open) the three chuck teeth that hold the bit in place. Turn the chuck to open it far enough to get your bit fully in the chuck then turn it closed to hold the bit in. When the teeth make contact turn the chuck a bit further to get it tight enough that the bit won't slip. When you get used to it, sometimes it's easier to hold the chuck lightly and turn it by lightly squeezing the trigger to turn the chuck with the drill motor.

Makita battery wont keep charge

Given the problems with Makita Li-ion batteries there are 2 likely reasons, you have a faulty charger or both batteries are faulty, the best option is to find another charger to try your batteries on and see if they charge, depending on the age of the drill you may be able to get the batteries or charger replaced by Makita, a lot of them have been replaced out of the warranty period because they are known to fail prematurely, take the faulty item back to the place of purchase with you invoice and put the pressure on for replacement

Trigger Switch

I don't thinkk you got the motor aligned in the housing right. It sounds like it's in a bind causing the battery to over amp which shuts it down. The litium batteries have curcuits that detect overloads so you don't damage the battery. There are alignment guides in the housing and on the motor to help get it right.

Makita Cordless drill light stays on after releasing trigger

THe light will drain the battery. Your issue resides in the electronics circuit. The light itself is an LED bulb, not a whole lot of current draw. Your best bet is to take it to a service center and have them warrenty the board for the electronics. Can't fix this with conventional tactics. If the board is bad, they will replace it free as a manufacturers defect.

Got the screw out of my chuck but still cant get the chuck off does it screw off or does it just pull off after screw is out on a makita bdf452

What you need to do is shift the tool to low and the drill only position. Find a bent handle allen wrench about the chuck capacity and lock it into the jaws. Put the chuck ona workbench or wood block with the long part of the handle about a 30 degree angle facing counter clockwise and strike it with a hammer, it might take a couple times but it will come off. The chuck is screwed on with standard threads
