There is one main thing you need to do before any thing you need to unplug the Tv leave off for 24 hours not plugged in do not temp to plug it in then after 24 hours off you need to plug in do not try the remote or press any buttons ok at all just plug in and leave it for 24 hours plugged in then you can unplug the Tv for 30 mins then plug back in and try to use the remote or press the buttons if it still don't work then the power board might be the problem but get back to me afthe 2 days ok to see how you got on
how many blinks does the red light give in a row? This would be an error code?
The problem for 7 blinks would be an Interface board. Apparently there is a glitch in the interface board that sends signals to the television.
Basically the glitch shorts out the board and the t.v wont turn on and
you will see the power light blink 7 times pause then 7 more. You can
replace the board with a new one and update the software on the new interface board.
If is isn't 7, let me know and I will help you out with this
It sounds that the IIC Bus circuit shorts bey some faulty components connected to it. The troubleshooting work to this section circuit is very skilled one. If
you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you sufferfatal electrical shock!
Instead, contact the nearest service center.
first of all have a nice day..the problem of your tv is a COLD SOLDER meaning there's only loss solder causing by overheated component such as resistor, tranformer etc. check and look closely to all of the suspected terminals, someting looks burning, try to solder all the susupected terminal using soldering iron and solder. chek also components it maybe cracked resisitor or diodes
my names bill fox and i have the same tv . i know a mark miller from rushville in. is this you. if so reach me a 2-1278 and we will discuss replacing your power supply from my tv that has a bad convergance boardbut the power supply works fine. i can fix this for half the estimated price youve already recieved.
One of two symptoms on this model (LTV-32W6HD)
Blue light comes on but cannot shut off.
No picture;
OR
No picture but sound is OK.
1: In both cases replace ALL the electrolytic capacitors onthe output side of the power supply. This should get the power switch to worknormally.
2: Replace the small tiny wee little tiny small 2.0A fuse onthe inverter board labeled F1.
This is the small black fuse, not the slightly bigger whiteones labeled F2 and F3.Ta Da...all fixed.
