Samsung Tantus Model 553W HDTV1080i, when you turn the tv it just has a black screen and makes a clicking noise like it is turning on and off

Samsung has had a issue with several models, with power supply going out. The clicking noise is what lets you know it is the power supply, it is teying to cut on but has not power from the board so it cuts off. I would call Samsung and see if your model happens to be listed as the models they are covering the power supply for, your exact model number is HCM553WX.
